Died: 1816 AD

1775 – Served with out distinction as president pro tempore of King’s College.

1784-1786 – Episcopal Bishop; Prof. Rhetoric and Logic at Columbia.    
1800 – Accepted rectorship of Trinity Church, New York City.

1801-1811 – Served as actual president of Columbia (fifth president).

         – He was consecrated bishop of New York.

         – His duties as bishop were assumed by his assistant John H. Hobart, because of Moore’s paralysis.

1816 – He died.
