1876 – Graduated from Harvard University.

1886-1906 – Author of the books, Chosön: The Land of the Morning Calm, The Soul of the Far East, Noto, Occult Japan, Mars and Mars and It’s Canals.

         – Founded the Lowell Observatory in Arizona.

1908 – Married to Constance Savage Keith.

         – Wrote Mars as the Abode of Life.

1916 – Died on November 12th in Flagstaff, Arizona.
